Measurements are conducted on different types of matrices: liquid solutions (water, brines) after adequate dilution; solid samples (natural or synthetic powders, rocks, plants) after alkaline fusion or acid dissolution.<\/p><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><div class=\"vcex-post-type-entry vcex-grid-item wpex-clr col span_1_of_3 vcex-isotope-entry col-1 entry post-6916 type-page no-media translation_priority-100\"><div class=\"vcex-post-type-entry-inner entry-inner wpex-first-mt-0 wpex-last-mb-0 wpex-clr\"><div class=\"vcex-post-type-entry-details entry-details wpex-bordered wpex-first-mt-0 wpex-last-mb-0 wpex-clr\"><div class=\"match-height-content\"><h2 class=\"vcex-post-type-entry-title entry-title wpex-mb-5\"><a href=\"https:\/\/lgf.mines-stetienne.fr\/en\/platforms-2\/instrument-platforms\/study-of-solids-by-thermal-micro-analysis-esmat\/\">Study of Solids by Thermal Micro-Analysis (ESMAT)<\/a><\/h2 ><div class=\"vcex-post-type-entry-excerpt entry-excerpt wpex-my-15 wpex-text-pretty wpex-last-mb-0 wpex-clr\"><p>The platform is equipped with 14 high-tech devices to meet all requirements in thermal analysis and calorimetry. Specifically, it possesses equipment for the production of high-purity metallic alloys, ceramic materials using innovative processes (additive manufacturing, microwave sintering...), and organic matrix structural composites through direct fabrication processes.
