Thematic Days of the SF2M South-East Section “Perception and Materials” – February 6-7, 2025

  • News

Objectives

In this multidisciplinary field, speakers from cognitive science and materials science will explain how the properties of materials influence our visual, tactile, or olfactory perceptions, and how certain advanced materials can play a crucial role as sensors and detection and perception devices (nose, tactile finger).

Two main themes will be presented each day: “Cognition and behavior” and “Methods for studying multimodal perception“. To view the detailed programme of talks, click here.

A poster session will be organised to offer students the opportunity to present their work, whether at the stage of initial results or more advanced. A prize will be awarded for the best poster at the end of the second day.
