Welcome to the Georges Friedel Laboratory

The Georges Friedel Laboratory is a joint research unit of the CNRS (UMR 5307) and is part of the CNRS Institute of Engineering (INSIS).

Located at Mines Saint-Étienne and supported by both supervisory bodies (Mines Saint-Étienne and CNRS), the laboratory brings together the full potential of Mines Saint-Étienne in the fields of materials, mechanics and processes.
