SF2M (South-East section) poster award for Sarah Marion

Sarah Marion, a PhD student at the laboratory, in the SURF team (and at the LTDS laboratory, Centrale Lyon), won first prize for the SF2M (South-East Section) poster at its thematic days entitled “Revisiting materials testing”.

These days, organised at École Centrale de Lyon on November 9 and 10, 2023, were devoted to thermal, physicochemical and mechanical materials analysis techniques and their recent advances. General concepts and specific examples were presented by invited speakers who are specialists in the field. A wide range of materials was covered: metals, ceramics, polymers and composites. Sarah Marion’s poster focused on “the influence of the crystallographic orientation of Ti-6Al-4V on the morphology and optical properties of thin films obtained by anodisation”.
